I'm a winter person - I love the snow, cold weather, the holidays, layers of clothes, mittens and hats. However, this year I'm getting really excited for fall to come. Why? I think it's because our new house has a gorgeous fireplace that smells wonderful and takes a little bit of the bite out of the cool mountain evening air.
Yep, we already used our fireplace one evening last week. Don't worry - the temps dropped to the 40s that night so it was quite appropriate. Now I'm dreaming of drinking hot chocolate piled with marshmallows, gazing out the window at the fall colors, and listening to fire crackling. Oh, and most importantly, curled up in my blanket reading a good book!

Kara, curling up in front of a cracking fire with a book and a mug of hot chocolate sounds wonderful. I'm thrilled that one of the books you'll read is my debut novel, Courting Miss Adelaide. I'm honored to share the list with such fabulous authors! Thank you!
Blessings, Janet
WOW! You have a wonderful list. Thanks for sharing ~ Happy Fall Reading
Great list, Kara! I've been listening to the audiobook of The Grand Weaver -- good stuff. And Bell's book on Plot & Structure is full of good, practical writing guidance.
Enjoy your fall reading...and enjoy your fireplace!
Those books look really good! Good luck on your reading journey!
